CPNet Michelle | | On the 4th April 2016, CPNet, through its production unit FilmStream, installed an IPTV platform on its domain at pileCom.net.
The service went through a period of testing so as to determine the best format for delivery, the preferred content genre, and the subscription support we could expect in the initial stages.
On the 15th April the platform became operational with the bringing online of the Cinema on Demand service where exclusive Pan African and Caribbean feature films are being offered on a Pay per View basis.
Many of you would have received notification via social media on this service becoming available.
We will implement the FilmStream platform in a phased approach.
Phase one the Cinema on Demand ( a Pay per View service), and Collywood TV has been activated.
Phase two will be the provision of the FilmStream multi channel service.
Phase three will be the activation of the Pay per View live streaming service.
Research and Development is an ongoing process within this organization as we strive to improve on service delivery and additional options for our viewers.
It is indeed an exciting time for the consultancy and we look forward to your support in helping this platform become the primer delivery vehicle for our local and regional producers of film content.
