India’s first and only boy band, A Band of Boys, have embarked on their musical voyage to Hollywood. The band has sung and produced the single, “Paris Ke Jalwe” for the John Travolta starrer, “From Paris With Love”, for its India release. This action thriller has John Travolta in a new avatar. The movie is cutting edge and designed for mainstream audiences.
Though, the world has seen a few Indian singers & composers featuring in Hollywood movies, this is the first attempt by a purely Indian or Asian band to create, compose and sing the “title” track of a Hollywood movie for its India release. The Bands’ first and India’s first.
“This single is the first step towards our association with Hollywood. The song got such rave reviews that currently, we are discussing two more Hollywood projects for a similar endeavour”, says Karan Oberoi, a key member of A Band of Boys. Karan adds, “The sound and feel of the track is very cutting new age, racy and full of adrenalin-pumping energy, while being catchy, at the same time – the best part is, mixing a catchy word like ‘Tod-Phod’ with Paris in fast-paced Hollywood flick!”
With a history of many successful chartbusters including “Gori”, “Naine Katari”, “Meri Neend”, etc., this new rendezvous of the band is deemed to provide them with significant international exposure and extend their fan base beyond just being pan-Indian, to other international territories.
